Baltimore, Maryland

If you were under the age of 18 and injured in an auto accident caused by a parent, you may be eligible for compensation for your injuries.

Maryland has two statutes that relate to parent-child immunity and motor vehicle tort cases. They are section 3-904 and section 5-806. 3-904 provides that a wife, husband, parent and child of the deceased person may not be a beneficiary of wrongful death action for the death of a job of a parent under certain circumstances.
